Any person who proposes to install this water system, for fire fighting, including domestic sprinklers in property covered by The Water Supply (Water Fittings) (Scotland) Byelaws 2014 or The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009 must
(a) give notice to the relevant water company that that person proposes to begin work;
(b) not begin that work without the consent of the relevant water company;
(c) comply with any conditions to which the relevant water company’s consent is subject.
